RoostGuard exists for one reason: too many backyard flocks are lost to predators that a closed door would have stopped.

We are a small, owner-run online shop focused on backyard poultry equipment that actually protects your birds. No 5,000-product catalog, no gadgets for the sake of gadgets. We pick a small number of products around one job, keeping your flock safe and your routine simple, and we know each of them in detail.

Who runs RoostGuard

RoostGuard is owned and operated by Melik Ilkay, a self-employed ecommerce operator based in Petersberg, Germany, who has been building and running online shops since 2023. RoostGuard is a registered sole proprietorship in Germany, not a faceless storefront.

How we work, openly

We are a retailer, not a manufacturer. We do not build the products we sell. We select equipment from manufacturers, stock it with a fulfillment partner in the United States, and that partner ships your order directly to you. That is why delivery takes 5 to 8 business days and why shipping is free on every US order.

Specifications over slogans. Every product page lists real dimensions, materials and honest limits. If a product is not right for your coop, we would rather you find out before you order than after.

Honesty over hype. We tell you what a product cannot do. An automatic door protects a closed coop; it does not replace common sense or a well-built run. You will find that kind of plain talk everywhere on this site.

Support that answers. Questions before or after your order go to a real person and get answered within 24 hours. If something arrives damaged or does not work, we fix it without a debate: replacement or full refund, your choice.

Where we are today

RoostGuard launched in 2026 and is at the beginning. We do not have thousands of customers yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do have: real product specifications, clear policies, a named owner with a registered business, and a phone number that reaches him.
